We had $600 left over from our redecorating budget of $10,000. Almost all the money was spent on the interior of the home on bathroom and kitchen updates. Rather than pocket the extra money, we decided to take a look at our yard as a place to add $600 in improvements. It was small and quaint and surrounded by a cedar fence, a feature that provided some privacy. But, it was basically a plain and boring fence. We found a simple, but elegant, solution when we found an appealing fence post cap design online. The cedar fence post caps were around $18 each. I’m a sucker for this elegant sterling silver rhinoceros charm. Since 2007 I’ve been interested in the survival of the black rhinoceros, and wanted something to wear to symbolize them. What I love about this jewelry is the fact that it isn’t trying to be “cute,” but still captures the rhino in a somewhat whimsical way.
