Now that I have found a few things that are hard to find locally I have found that I have a much better selection with the more common items like ball finials. I like the selection I am finding online along with the quality of materials they are made out of. The one thing I hate is getting a call after a job is over and having to go back out and fix something that has broken. This is why it is extremely important to find very well made items to install.

However, like all bonsai, you do have to be careful that your Shimpaku Bonsai doesn’t attract mites and other parasites. Juniper bonsai are one of the favorite foods of the spider mites. These nasty little mites appear as tiny red specks on the underside of the leaves. They may be so small that you can’t see them. To test for them, hold a piece of paper underneath the leaves and tap them. The mites, if there are any, will fall onto the paper and you’ll be able to see them clearly. If you find mites, you’ll need to spray your bonsai with organic pesticides. These should kill off the mites—if they don’t, you’ll have to switch to chemical-based pesticides, which can hard your bonsai.

I did my research on garden sheds and ordered mine online. I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble, which took me no time at all. We considered keeping the extra $400, but instead settled on adding finials to the fence design. Finials are decorative ornamental shapes added to the top of a post cap. They are one of the earliest forms of architectural ornamentation and have been used throughout the history of the world to add detail and flourish to gates, fences, fence posts, arbors and all manner of useful structures. We agreed on a cedar finial shaped like an acorn. The cedar finials were about $25 a piece. In the end our fence beautification cost about $450. We took the extra $150 and put it back in the bank!
